I was born in Greece. I came to Germany with my parents when I was eight years old. After 20 years in Germany my parents decided to go back to Greece/Crete. They built a small Hotel in Western Crete. There was no Tour Operator who wanted to cooperate with our Hotel, as the western Site of Crete was relatively unknown in the 80Žies. By the time I studied Commercial Correspondece in Germany and I resolved to help my parents. So I announced in several newspapers with advertisments. Shortly I recognized that I had huge fun, it was the right job for me, so I decided to open the first Travel Agency for Western Crete. Expeditiously I have got many other Hotels, Villas & Apartments on Crete in the range. As Specialist for Crete subsequent I noticed the medium BTX (interactive videotex service) and we were the first Travel Agency in Germany for Crete in BTX. After his Academic Studies for Economics my husband Wolfgang Brack followed my path. In time, in the 90 ies we trust in the medium WWW, so we were the first Travel Agency in the WWW for the German Market, specialist for Crete. Nowadays we extend our range for small and unique hotels, apartements, villas and car rental on Crete. Our goal was and will ever be: getting better and better providing an excellent service to our clients

I was born in Düsseldorf. While attending school I meet my wife "Nikoletta". As she is from Greece we spent a lot of time on Crete, we shuttle between Crete and Germany. The first time I was on Crete I was 19 years old, it was just a short two-day-break. I was so impressed with this Island, I was sure "I will be back soon". During my academic studies for economic and after visiting crete for several times, it was quite plaid to me that Crete will be my future. My ittention was to combine my crete experience with my Know how from my economic Studies. I began to suppport my wife in her travel agency realising my know how. Know I am sattisfied with my Idea I had, to combine Career & hobby. Due to my Technical know how, my hobby Photography, Culture and Nature Interest, our Crete Experience ( now for more than 20 years) our Love to our Island Crete, our competent partners on crete and our direct connections to our Hotels,Villas and Holidayhomes on Crete, we had create a wunderful webiste for English speaking people "www.Cretehideaways.com and our German Travel - Pages" www.kreta.com.
